"Safety and security don't just happen, they are the result of collective consensus and public investment. We owe our children, the most vulnerable citizens in our society, a life free of violence and fear." ~Nelson Mandela

Dear Rachel,
ReplyDeleteI really do appreciate your quote. It was among my first choices for my blog. Children truly are the most vulnerable in our society. They depend on us for so much, and yet we usually fall short in creating the best environments for them. It is my dream that some day people everywhere will revere children envough to make sure fear and violence are not seen nor heard.
Best of luck to you in your next course. I hope that our paths will soon meet again.
Sally
